Grace Mcnutt

Grace Marie McNutt, age 80, formerly of Maumee, Ohio passed away May 7, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. She was born December 27, 1935 in Toledo to Leonard and Vivian (Rehling) Jenkins. Grace attended St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church and a past member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 320. An avid Elvis Presley memorabilia collector, Grace enjoyed gardening, needle point and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.

Grace is survived by her loving children, Helen (Daniel) Redmond, Elizabeth (Orval Herzig) McNutt, Sandra (John) Schroeder and Patrick McNutt; grandchildren, Missy (Doug) Taylor, Mike (Mychelle) Mercer, John (Zoe) Schroeder, Chris (Adrian) Schroeder, Nick (Alicia) Schroeder, Shawn Schroeder, Jennifer Parrish and Jessica Parrish; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, George (Ruthann) Jenkins and Garry Jenkins; sisters-in-law, Inez Gorsuch and Diane Jenkins. In addition to her parents Grace was preceded in death by her husbands, the love of her life, George McNutt and Edgar Nickell; grandson, Matthew Schroeder and brothers, infant Charlie and beloved Gerald Jenkins.

The family will receive guests, Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Grace's memory.
