Gordon E. Mclean

Gordon E. McLean, age 56, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born November 4th, 1954 to Neil and Elizabeth (O'Connor) McLean in Toledo. Gordon was a Sales Manager with Rhoden Auto Center in Omaha Nebraska for more than 15 years. Because his family and friends were very important to him Gordon moved back to Toledo to spend time with them. He was a loving and kind-hearted person always putting others needs before his own.

Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, Bob McLean. He is survived by his siblings, Kim Hady, Kevin (Kim) McLean, David (Karen Novak) McLean and Neil (Jackie) McLean. Gordon is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Family and Friends will have the opportunity to "Share Memories" at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gordon's Family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dan Pipoly, Dr. Anne Steck and the Nurses and Respiratory Therapist of the 2nd Floor S.I.C.U. at Toledo Hospital as well as the entire staff of The Toledo Hospital for their loving care, support and kindness they showed to Gordon during his many visits.
