Glorianne S. Gohr, age 76, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 13th, 2019 at Parkcliffe Memory Care Community.
She was born on August 25th, 1942 to Emerson Sr. and Marion (Gill) Stow in Griffin, Georgia.
Glorianne was a graduate of Ringling School of Arts in Sarasota, Florida and worked as a fashion designer in New Orleans, Louisiana where she met and married Fred Gohr in 1964. The union was blessed with two children. Fred Gohr, husband of 51 years, preceded her death on December 17th, 2015.
Glorianne and Fred moved many times to follow Fred's work with Boeing Corporation.
In 1974 they settled in their farm in Barron, Wisconsin. They were active in curling, farming, and church. Glorianne was an accomplished seamstress. Her family also loved her talents as a baker!
She is survived by her brother Emerson Jr. (Kitty) Stow of Gainesville, Georgia, son Phil (Christine) Gohr, daughter Jolee Mickesh all of Maumee, Ohio, and grandsons Tyler Mickesh of Morristown, New Jersey, Grant Mickesh of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Matt (Tiffany) Morton of Atlanta, Georgia and granddaughter Molly (Derrick) Ball of Southfield, Michigan, along with six great grandchildren.
The Family will receive guests Thursday, July 18th, 2019 from 4 - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdwons Blvd., Toledo, OH, 43614.
