Gloria Jean Meggitt
Gloria Jean Meggitt, age 52 of Toledo passed away Thursday, November 20, 2003 in her home. She was born January 5, 1951 to John and Virgene (Nye) Pierce in Norwalk, Ohio. Gloria was employed in the Healthcare field for more than 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Anne Virgene Meggitt. Gloria is survived by her loving family including her life companion, Duane S. Allison; siblings, Daniel; Richard; Kenneth; Steve and Veronica Pierce; Larry Warren; John Locke and Joan Stoughton; children, David; Matthew and William Meggitt and grandchildren, Cassandra; Lacey; Alexandra and Kira Meggitt.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 1-7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Ruth Cunning.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer society or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
