Gloria M. King

Gloria M. King, age 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away April 15, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 13, 1933 in Toledo to Raymond and Lydia (Brinkman) Hathaway. Gloria was employed for many years until she retired to care for her son, Jeffery. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed painting and loved animals. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family.

Gloria is survived by her son, Jack King, Jr.; daughter, Amy (Fred) Whaley; grandchildren, Carrie Whaley-Hrebic, Wendy (Eric) Ladd and Angela (Peter) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Ricky, Madison, Marissa and Nolan; nephew, John (Cheryl) Toepfer; special friend, Sr. Sue Tracy. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery King and sister, Jean Toepfer.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, please meet directly at the cemetery.
