Gloria A. (Gay) Roth

Gloria A. (Gay) Roth, age 81, of Sylvania, OH passed away August 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 13, 1936 in Toledo and raised in Green Bay, WI to Bernard and Doris (Johnston) Gay. Gloria graduated from Mary Brook Academy where she received the Bishop's Cross. She was employed as an LPN with the former Flower Hospital on Cherry St and Collingwood and later moved to the current Hospital site in Sylvania for more than 24 years.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Roth; children, Michael Roth, Timothy (Kristine) Roth, Elizabeth (Shannon) Allen, Daniel (Angela) Roth, Joseph (Tina) Roth and Andrew (Julie) Roth; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Doris Jean (Doug) Jaquillard, Lou Ann Denis, Kevin (Becky) Gay, Kenny (Rhonda) Gay, June (Bill) McGill, Mary (Mark) Putman and Paula Rollins. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny and sister, Glenda.

The family will receive guests Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Gloria's memory.
