Gloria E. Sterling

Gloria E. Sterling, age 73, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 29, 1938 to Elmer and Dorothy (Stout) Snouffer in Toledo. Gloria was employed with Penske and American Metal Craft as a dock audit inspector for many years before retiring. She enjoyed taking casino trips, listening to music and was an avid gardener. Gloria loved nothing more than the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rick Snouffer and Larry Glander. Gloria is survived by her mother, Dorothy Estenfelder; children, Lori (Fred) Yarger, Summer Leppert, Brian (Deborah) Dunn, Dale Dunn, Kelly (Marvin) Parke and Vera (Joel) Wiskochil; loving companion of 21 years, Walt Lumbreezer, and his 3 daughters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dave Snouffer; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
