Glenn E. McGinley, age 74, of Holland, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 8th, 2006 in St. Anne Mercy Hospital. He was born January 20, 1932 to Arba and Olga (Maerzke) McGinley in Toledo. Glenn was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was employed with the DeVilbiss Company for 25 Years. Glenn and his wife Darla were the former owners of Country Campground in Whitehouse during the late 1980's. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church, Holland, Ohio. And his favorite pastime was watching the deer in Sidecut Metro Park.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Darla J. (Kreps) McGinley; sons, Glenn (Kelley) McGinley, II and Donald McGinley; 3 granddaughters; 4 great grandchildren; dear friend, Richard Kuebler and loving companion, "Nutmeg".
The family will receive guests Saturday, February 18th, 2006 at New Hope Christian Church (at the corner of Holloway & Garden Rds.) for a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Harris.
