Glenda Louise Foreman

Glenda Louise Foreman, age 70, of Swanton, OH passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 surrounded by her family at home. She was born August 7, 1950 in Toledo to Glen and Gertrude (Pierce) Hodge. Glenda graduated from Sylvania High School, Class of 1968. She went on to attend the University of Toledo to obtain her Teaching Degree. Glenda worked at The Toledo Clinic as a Transcriber for several years. In her earlier years she worked at the former Gray's and then Lane's Drug Store and it was there that she met her soon to-be-husband.

Glenda met and married the love of her life, Jon Foreman in 1975 and they resided in Toledo where they raised their son. She was a loving wife and mother enjoying the time they spent together. Glenda was also an animal lover and active for years in stopping cruelty to animals. She participated in many petition drives to ensure all that animals were kept safe and fed and placed in homes where they were loved.

Glenda enjoyed nature and spent countless hours watching the birds she and Jon feed in their yard. She also enjoyed watching several comedy shows on TV.

Her parents preceded her in death. Glenda is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Jon D. Foreman and her son, Jeff Foreman.

There will be a Private Family service for Glenda with burial to follow at Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Toledo Lucas County Humane Society in her memory.
