Father of Armani Karam. Brother of Rami Karam (wife Diana Khisha), Reem Karam (husband Ghassan Massouh). Uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, step father and in-law of many others who he loved dearly.

Gus traveled to Toledo Ohio in 1985 where he attended Toledo University. His favorite hobbies were to cook, read, and draw. Had a career path in cooking at multiple restaurants in Toledo. Gus was very proud of his Syrian heritage and family. Everyone who had known Gus knew was a humble and loving man. He lived life unapologetic.
