Gertrud M. Olligschlager, age 92, passed away on Friday evening, October 30, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania with family by her side. She was born on September 12, 1923 to Joseph and Gertrud (Frohlich) Thomas in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Constantin; son, Rainer; brother, Heinrich (Gerry) Thomas and brother in law, Karl Kortgode. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Hans (Ann) Olligschlager and Karen (John) Kleeberger; daughter in law, Kathy Olligschlager; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Elisabeth Kortgode; many nieces and nephews.
All services for Gertrud will be Private. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park; Officiating is Rev. Jerry Craig.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Promedica Ebeid Hospice.
