Geri Barraco

Geri Lee Barraco, age 58, of Toledo, passed away peacefully January 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Geri was born June 17, 1956 in Toledo to Charles and Erma (LaGro) Stowe. She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1974 and went on to obtain her Associates Degree from Monroe Community College. Geri was a very dedicated, hard working woman who worked at many area businesses until she became diagnosed with cancer. She was a loving and dedicated grandmother to both of her granddaughters. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, card games and putting together puzzles.

She is survived by her mother Erma Stowe, daughter Renee (Jeremy) Lockard, brother Mike (Janie) Stowe, sisters Cheryl (Dennis) Presley and Jamie Cole, ex-Husband Jeff Barraco, granddaughters Caitlyn Bussell and Adalyn Lockard, niece Anna Dartt, nephew Kevin Stowe and great nephews Laith and Malik along with other numerous family members and friends. Geri was preceded in death by her father Charles.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Charu Trivedi and staff for their wonderful care they gave to Geri during her illness.

The family will receive guests Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 am. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Geri 's memory.
