Gerda M. Otto, 83, passed away on January 15, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born in Germany on November 4, 1928.
Gerda worked as a Deli Clerk at Wolfert's Market where she later retired from. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Gerda was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 59 years, Heinz; children, Win (Pamela) Otto, Heidi (Jeff) Kennelly; grandchildren, Jacob (Cori) Otto, Jordan (Lindsay) Otto, Brittney, Craig, Megan and Ethan Kennelly; great-granddaughter, Halle.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo. A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Ebeid Hospice for the wonderful care given to Gerda. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ebeid Hospice.
