Geraldine (Rizzo) Cybulski

Geraldine "Gerry" (Rizzo) Cybulski, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1924 to Felix and Iva (Bright) Konieczka in Toledo. Gerry was employed with the Toledo Board of Education for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Point Place VFW, the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center and of St. Clement Catholic Church. Gerry loved to polka dance and was a member of the Toledo Area Polka Society as well. Gerry often enjoyed going to dinner, bike riding and traveling with her husband. She also had a strong love for her dog Chipper. Gerry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Gerry is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Frank Cybulski; daughters: Judy (Rick) Harrison and Karen (Craig) Tidrick; grandchildren: Kelly, Todd (Heather), Jill, Adam and Alex; great-grandchildren: Drake, Drew, Dylan, Dalton and Cameron; step-children: Dennis (Sandra) Cybulski, Kathleen (Al) Sobb and Carol (James) Lake; 4 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, December 10, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 3 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
