Gerald A. Snyder

Gerald A. Snyder, 81, of Toledo, passed away, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born on May 28, 1936 to Ross and Beulah (Kahl) Snyder in Toledo. He was a graduate of Macomber High School where he played basketball, where they were city and district champions. Jerry retired from Local 45 after 30 plus years of service as an asbestos worker. He was an avid fan of sprint car racing and was an owner in his younger years. When he wasn't working he enjoyed playing sports, watching pro football and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 62 years, Darlene; sons, Terry (Virginia) Snyder and Dennis "Grog" Snyder; grandchildren, Tania (Jamie), Denise, Gary (Missy), Jodie (Dylan) and Katie (Jason); many precious great-grandkids; sister, Sue (Claus) Stang and nephew, Eric (Jennifer).

Per Jerry's wishes, there will be a private family gathering.
