Gerald M. Mccree

Gerald M. "Jerry" McCree, age 49, of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 24, 2013 in his home. He was born June 23, 1963 in Toledo to Richard and Jennie (Dresch) McCree. Jerry was an avid New York Yankees fan, and always attended the LPGA Jamie Farr Tournament. He volunteered at Christ the King Catholic Church, where he was a parishioner since 2011.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Jennie McCree; brothers, James (Dawn) McCree, Dennis (Valerie) McCree and Alan McCree; sister-in-law, Sylvia McCree; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Donald McCree.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Dominic Savyo officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Christ the King Catholic Church.
