Gerald W. Ice, age 67, of Swanton, passed away February 6, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital. Gerald was born on June 15, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Harry and Mary (Bouquet) Ice. Gerald graduated from Scott High School in 1957, earned a Masters of Education from the University of Toledo and went on to honorably serve as a teacher and administrator in the Washington Local School System for over 32 years.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Sandy; daughter, Jennifer; son, LTC David (Ann); sister, Kitty (Buck) Bylow; step-children: Kristi (Brian) Arbic, Kevin (Jen) Reber and Mandy Reber; and granddaughter: Bailey
For all blessed with the privilege to share in part of his life, Gerald will always be fondly remembered and appreciated for his loving and prideful heart, inner strength and fighting spirit and faith in God to the very end.
If God judges man on the stewardship of his family and the lives he has touched, then Gerald will hear…Job well-done, Good and Faithful Servant.
Gerald, now you rest with God's most cherished, but your legacy will remain with us all the days of our lives.
Friends may attend a Memorial Service at Tremainsville Hall, 2439 Tremainsville Rd. on Friday, February 9, 2007 starting at 1:00 p.m.
