Georgia M. Rybczynski

Georgia M. Rybczynski, age 75, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on July 1, 1947, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to the late Andre and Irene Schirk.

Georgia was employed at the Lucas County Sherriff's Department for 30 years, where she worked as a property officer. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, hunting, and fishing. She loved spending time at her cottage on Lake Erie, where she would fish with her husband, Tim. Most of all, Georgia treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her husband and best friend of 42 years, Timothy Rybczynski, whom she married in 2006; children, Renee' Poole and Richard Poole; grandchildren, Daniel and Chad; numerous great grandchildren; and siblings, Jody Schuler, June Maurer, and Andy Schirk.

Georgia was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by her parents, Andre and Irene (Vagas) Schirk.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 pm, with Pastor George Williams officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
