Georgia Rae Russell was born Thursday, March 12, 1942 to the union of Theresa Stovall-Russell and George W. Russell. The Lord called her home early Wednesday morning November 13, 2013. She was in the West Cove Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Mike Russell.
Georgia attended Gunckel Elemantary, Robinson Jr. High and Libbey High Schools. For many years she worked for Lott Industries, retiring due to her health in 2012. She attended Larc Lane Center and she enjoyed visiting with her friends.
Her first and longest job was babysitting for family and friends.
She loved to play bingo and other games where she would win prizes. She also loved to go to the Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Wal-Mart. Georgia had a good memory and could remember most everything and everybody.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her Step-Mother, Juanita P. Russell; Sister, Kathy A. Taylor; Step-Brother, Edward (Tiffany) Garrett; Step-Sisters, Betty and Venita Garrett, Edith Lathan and Ruth (Robin) Clark; Niece, Sabrina Russell and Nephew, Tony (Yolanda) Russell; a host of other family and friends.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at West Cove Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of their help and concern they provided to Georgia. Special thanks to those who provided comforting words and support to Georgia and her family during these difficult times.
