Georgeanna Bednar

Georgeanna Lee Bednar, age 70, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2015. Georgeanna was born October 14, 1944 in Toledo to Edward and Eustella (Krueger) Jump. She was employed at Meijer's as a bakery clerk, as a Nursing Assistant at various Nursing Homes, Anton's Star and Norgetown Cleaners as a press operator. Georgie was an avid NASCAR fan with Tony Stewart being her favorite driver, she also enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was also a longtime member of Victory Life Chapel. Most of all Georgie enjoyed spending time with her family especially her 'grandbabies'.

She is survived by her son, Thomas (Michelle) Bednar, grandbabies Brayden and Tempest Bednar and Sydney Kwiatkowski, brother, Raymond (Jeanette) Jump, aunt Geraldine Kissling, former husband and longtime friend, Ronald (Sandra) Bednar, special friend and caretaker, Jackie Hughes, nephew Aaron Jump and niece Lauren Norris, along with many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests Friday, May 8, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:30 am. in the funeral home followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
