George O. W. Stewart, III
George O. W. Stewart, III, age 93, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in his home. He was born June 13, 1913, to George and Almeda (Thomas) in Lexington, Kentucky. George was a bricklayer mason and also a member of Ohio Local 46 for 65 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas. George is survived by his daughters, Phyllis S. Smith and Neilah Kirchner; grand-children, Phillip R. Smith, Adrianne Mintz, Stacy Kirchner; great-grandchildren, Stephen, Andrea and Jordan Willhauck; sister, Almeda Bibbs and half sister, Jean T. Stewart.
The family will receive guests Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Lauman.
