George Middleton
George Middleton, 77, passed away peacefully on July 18th, 2011. He was born on February 22nd, 1934 to the late Frances and Garn Middleton.
George retired after 43 years of service at Maumee Stone Co. He enjoyed restoring his '57 Chevy and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his daughter, Merry Kaye Doktor, four brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Marilyn "Jo"; daughter, Becky J. Woods; grandchildren, Beyea (Todd) Nowakowski, Brooke (Howard) Krell, Philip "Cody" (Katie) Henderson; brother, Derry (Jan); sisters, Edythe, Phyllis, Louise; great-grandchildren, Miela and Dane Nowakowski and Maylee Krell.
The family will receive guests on Saturday from 1-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). "Sharing of Memories" will begin at 4:00 p.m.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at HNWO and the HOA cancer center.
George was a loving father, husband and PaPa. He will be greatly missed.
