Geneva A. Keck Horak
Geneva A. Keck Horak, 75 of Toledo, passed Tuesday March 11, 2003 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Jean was born May 27, 1927 to Archie and Clara (Jones) Meredith in Besoco, W.VA.
She was the owner and operator of the Grand Motel for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Eugene Keck , Frank Horak, and a brother: Jackie.
Survivors include her daughter: Brenda (Dennis) Lettman, grandchildren: Craig Dibling, Michelle and Jason Lettman all of Toledo, and a brother: Bill Meredith of Nevada.
Visitation will be Friday beginning at 11a.m. at the Newcomer – Farley Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road at Talmadge (419-473-0300) followed by services at 1p.m. in the funeral home.
The family would like to give special thanks to the 6th Floor Staff at Flower Hospital and to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the American Diabetes Association. (www.funeralvalue.com)
