Gary D. Wilson, Sr.
March 18, 1951 — April 15, 2017
Gary D. Wilson, Sr., age 66, passed away on April 15, 2017. He was born on March 18, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Shirley and Nile Wilson.
Gary was employed at Doehler-Jarvis for 27 years as a Fork-lift Driver, Textile Leather for 10 years and most recently at Impact Solutions. Gary loved to play Bingo, play cards with his granddaughter and eat at Glendale and Reynolds Garden Cafes. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and Pistons, Denver Broncos, Detroit Red Wings and Ohio State Buckeyes. Gary will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 39 years, Carol; son, Gary Jr. (Jessica); siblings, Judi (Doug) Henry, Cherri Allen, Beverly Marsh, Fred Wilson, Jim (Marife) Wilson, Cindy Mallory; granddaughter, Maci and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his siblings, Danny, Pam, Robert and Nile Jr.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from Noon – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
