Gary D. Roscoe, age 81, of Toledo, passed away peacefully August 15, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Gary was born August 14, 1940 in Temperance to Dale and Ivis (Sautter) Roscoe. Gary worked at Shrader Tire & Oil, worked as a Snap-on Dealer, owned K&R Construction, and retired from B-Dry Waterproofing in 2005.
Gary was class president at Bedford High School in 1958. He loved his family fiercely, golfing, guns, Mustangs, flea markets, and camping at Big Sandy for 46 years. He was also an avid Western movie fan and was truly a cowboy at heart.
In addition to his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by his grandson, Vincent Roscoe, and brother, Joe Roscoe. He is survived by the love of his life of 51 years, Carol, sons, Mike Roscoe, Jim (Claudia) Roscoe, and Shane (Cari) Roscoe; daughter, Brandi (Tom) Hendry; grandchildren, Chassidy, Austin, Nathan, Drew, Chase, Noah, Hannah, Lexi, Christian, Louci and Caylee; great-grandchildren, Bennett and Porter; brothers, Doug Roscoe and Steve Roscoe; and sister, Susan Roscoe.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life Saturday, August 21, 2020 at Big Sandy Campground (4035 S. Berkey Southern, Swanton, OH) at 2:00 p.m., and ask all to bring a dish to share.
