Gary O'Bryant

Gary A. O'Bryant, 68, of Maumee, Ohio passed away November 13, 2012. He was born October 2, 1944. Gary loved spending time with his family and friends and was an avid bass fisherman. Gary is survived by his wife, Lynn, children, James (Jacquelyn) O'Bryant, Jodi O'Bryant and John O'Bryant, grandchildren, Jonathan (Jennifer) Peshke, Julia (Craig) Burrow, Frances (Dennis) Ehrmin and James O'Bryant, Sarah and Emily, and Nicholas and Abigail O'Bryant and six great-grandchildren and another on the way.

Gary proudly served as a member of the Toledo Police Department, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Toledo Police Retirees Association, Bass Unlimited Club, and Fraternal Order of Police.

The family wishes to extend thanks and praise to the phenomenal care staff and physicians at the University of Toledo Medical Center for their many years of devoted care. The family also wishes to thank their close friends.
Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Boulevard. Funeral Services will be November 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Maumee United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
