Galen C. Ebright

Galen C. Ebright, age 81, of Maumee, Ohio passed away October 14, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. He was born June 3, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Erma (Metzger) Ebright. Galen served his country in the U.S. Army. Galen was self-employed for many years in the insurance industry and was a member of Martin Luther Church and the Westgate Optimist Club.

Galen is survived by his wife, Barbara (Lehman) Ebright; children, Bruce (Gina) Ebright, Kelli Rosonowski (Troy Sprague), Linda Ebright, Michael Ebright; step-son, John Burdo, step-daughter, Lori (Thatcher) Burdo; grandchildren, Alexandria Rosonowski, Alyssa Ebright, Bryant Ebright, Ryan Burdo, Matthew Thatcher, Dave "D.J." Burdo and Sara Burdo; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. In addition to his parents, Galen was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ebright, infant daughter Glenda Ebright; step-son, Dave Burdo and one sister and one brother.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday Oct 22, 2014; 12:00 at Martin Luther Church, 601 Nevada Arden Place, Toledo, Ohio. Following the service there will be a small gathering at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westgate Optimist Club of Toledo-Youth Fund, 4748 Fairfield Drive, Toledo, OH 43623 in Galen's memory.
