Gail F. Hammer, age 79, of Toledo, passed away on November 1, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on October 14, 1938 to Clarence and Lucille (Emmel) Dreier. She married Donald Hammer on January 14, 1983. Gail was an avid reader and loved going to the casino. She also loved to spend time going to sports activities of her grandkids and nieces and nephews.

Gail is survived by her siblings, Susanne (Larry) Allen, Wayne (Darla) Dreier and Marilyn (Danny) Adkins; sister-in-law, Hollie Dreier; step-children, Geralyn (Dr. Walter) Stoll and Greg (Stacy) Hammer; grandchildren, David, Michael, Cameron and Brendan; great-granddaughter, BrynLee; many nieces, nephews and her dog, Bella. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; step-son, Donald, Jr.; brother, Larry Dreier; and niece, Jill (Allen) Besgrove.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 W. Central Ave., Toledo 43606, meeting at the gates. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
