Gabriel A. Jastal

Gabriel A. "Gabe" Jastal, age 31, of Toledo, was taken home unexpectedly Saturday, January 30, 2021 after a long battle. He was born on February 9, 1989 to Ray and Deborah (Bosworth) in Toledo, Ohio. Gabe attended Start High School. He was an active musician and loved playing the guitar. Gabe could pick up a guitar and just create music. He was steadfast in the love he had for his family and friends. Gabe left an imprint on the heart of everyone he met. His smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Debbie Jastal on April 19, 2020; niece, Brinya Scott; nephew, Aaron Jastal; and grandparents. Left to cherish Gabe's memory is his dad, Ray (Denise) Jastal; grandmother, Leona Jastal; siblings, Jerret (Lisa) Jastal, Aubrey (Matt Scott) Jastal, Brandon (Hannah) Jastal, Joshua (Sammie) Jastal, Grant Jastal, Devin "Lee" Jastal, and Zachary Jastal; spouse, Ondrea Ramsey; 15 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). (For the safety of the Jastal family and their guests, masks are required with social distancing).
