Frederick "Fritz" Meiers II

Frederick "Fritz" C. Meiers II, 54, of Holland, Ohio passed away on November 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 17, 1970 to Frederick and Cathleen (Fox) Meiers in Toledo. Fritz graduated from Bowsher High School in 1988. He married his sweetheart, Heidi Gilbert on June 10, 1995 and would have celebrated their 30 years in June. 

Fritz worked as a facility site coordinator for 16 years at the Toledo Public Schools. He enjoyed the quiet times and memories at home with Heidi and often helped her make dinner while talking about their days. 

Fritz is survived by his loving wife, Heidi Meiers; sisters, Debbie Meiers and Tami (David) Rahn; brother, Rob Meiers; step-father, Bob Zimmerman; step-siblings, Jodi, Mike, Kathy, and Chris; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cathleen Meiers; father, Frederick Meiers I.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Toledo Humane Society, American Heart Association, or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
