Frederick "Fred" Allan Warton

Frederick Allan Warton, age 76, of Holland, Ohio passed away on February 24, 2025 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Fred was born in Toledo on March 28, 1948 to David F. and Janet (Maloney) Warton.

 Fred was employed as a mechanic and worked for the Sheriff Auxiliary for Lucas County. He spent most of his career in management. He enjoyed classic cars and car models, camping, going to Gatlinburg, puzzles and spending time with his family.

 As the awesome man he was, Fred was loved by many; a friend to everyone, and always helping others. He will be dearly missed. 

Surviving is his loving wife, Kate Warton; sons, Scott (Gail) Warton, Gary (Heather) Warton; stepchildren, Crystal (Chris) Newman, Jennifer (Sean) Scanlon, David (Julie) Buck, Sarah Simmons, Amy (Jesse) Garcia, Hanna Buck and stepdaughters Bri (Tom) Rawlings and Jenna (Kevin) Kowalski; 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, David (Raeann) Warton, Dale (Pam) Warton, and Tom (Doug Wilson) Wharton.

 Fred was preceded in death by his father, David F. Warton; mother Janet Warton and brother Robert Warton. 

 Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. The Masonic Northern Light Lodge will conduct a ceremony at 2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
