Franklin Underwood, Sr.

Franklin D. Underwood, Sr., age 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in his home. He was born May 13, 1935 in Gibsonburg, Ohio to Vere and Hilda (Hanline) Underwood. Frank was employed by L.O.F. for over 30 years, retiring in 1991. He was an avid runner and enjoyed helping others. Frank will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is Frank's loving wife of 53 years, Rosalyn (Davis) Underwood; children, David (Lauren), Allen (Stacey), Frank, Jr., William (Kelly), Julie, Steven (Debbie) and Barbara (Corey); grandchildren, David, Thomas, Michael, Steven, Hunter, Elizabeth, Erin, Isabelle, Devin, Aaron and Jordan; great grandson, Tobias; brother, Ralph Underwood.

The family will receive guests Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
