Franklin R. "Frank" Mohler, age 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 29, 1937 to Milo and Maude (Hull) Mohler in Toledo. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving our country proudly. He worked as a printer at Bennett-Smith Printing Company. Frank was a member of the Toledo-Fort Industry Lodge #144, the Zenobia Shrine & its Arab Patrol Unit and the Toledo Elks Lodge #53. He enjoyed working with model trains and building model airplanes and ships. Frank loved 50's music and playing euchre with friends at Tom Clark's Players Club; the last time being a week ago. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank will be survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Ginnie Mohler; step-children, Stacey White and Shellie (Brad) Swicegood; step-grandchildren, Cody and Samantha Swicegood and Bailey and Connor Vaughn; and cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Friday from 2 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Masonic Services at 5:00 p.m.
