Franklin Grady Britt

Franklin Grady Britt, age 66, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born January 10, 1950 in Marion, Indiana to Patrick and Barbara Britt. Franklin was a 1968 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School. He worked in the Food Broker Business for 40 years.

Franklin is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Margaret Britt; children, Megan (Christian) Jones, Matthew (Jennifer) Britt, Michael (Shannon) Henry and Peggy Wick; 8 grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Cally, Bailey, Alex, A.J., Aiden and Avery; mother, Barbara Britt; sister, Lee Connolly and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Britt and brother, Raymond Britt.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee (Please meet directly at the church). Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Franklin's memory.
