Frank Veres, Sr.

Frank Veres, Sr., age 55, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at home. He was born on March 2, 1959 to Louis and Bernice (Ratkiewicz) Veres in Toledo. Frank worked as a mold maker with Modern Tools/Chrysler Corp. for 21 years before retiring. He was a UAW Chairman for Local 4444. Frank enjoyed fishing, listening to music, cruising in his car and spending time with his grandchildren. He volunteered at hospitals and numerous other organizations. Frank will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Veres and brother, Richard Veres. Frank is survived by his sons, Frank (Leah) Veres, Jr. and Dave (Lauren) Veres; grandchildren, Liston and Frankie J. Veres; canine companion, Gordo.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Andrew Weaver for all his help and guidance he gave to Frank.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 2 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300).
