Frank J. Polcwiartek, Sr., age 85, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. He was born on May 20, 1937 to Antoni and Stephania Polcwiartek in Poland. At the age of eighteen he moved to the USA to reunite with his mother and step-father, Stanley Srodon (after the Holocaust) in Toledo. He had a passion for cars, shopping and soccer. Frank retired from Chrysler after forty plus years of service. He loved spending time with family and special friends, Ruth Scott, Larry and Jerry Wozniak, Elaine Franklin, Larry Stawinski, Sr., and Ted Antonivk, with fond memories of the Sadowy family.
Frank is survived by his loving son, Frank, Jr. (Darlene); granddaughter, Jessica (John) Reynolds and her daughter, Stella; Jennell Polcwiartek; grandsons, Mark Polcwiartek, Craig Polcwiartek and Jerritt Proctor; grandchildren, Megyn, Selene, and Zale Proctor, and Alex Carr; niece, Hania Pron.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Marysia; beloved son, Mark Polcwiartek; and ex-wife, Nancy Polcwiartek.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Funeral Service beginning at noon. Interment will immediately follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
