Francisco Ortiz, Jr.

Francisco Ortiz, Jr., age 51, of Toledo, passed away on September 16, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a 1989 graduate of Woodward High School, after which he worked for many years in the masonry field. Francisco was the best Papa in the whole world, he adored his grandchildren. Francisco lived for his family, particularly his children. He loved to play pool and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Francisco was well known for his quick witty personality, which will be missed by so many.

Francisco was preceded in death by his son, Francisco Ortiz, III. He is survived by his wife, Jill Ortiz; daughters, Sarina (Kevin) Ortiz and Haley Ortiz; grandchildren, Amilliano Ortiz-Huber, Malayah Ortiz-Moore, Malena Ortiz-Moore, Francisco Ortiz-Huber, and Myah Ortiz-Moore; mother, Rosie Acosta; father, Francisco (Rosie) Ortiz, Sr.; siblings, Daniel (Anastasia) Ortiz, Corinna Ortiz, Oralia Loredo, Angie (Charlie) Roberson, Sonia (Levi) Campos, and Santos (Jodi) Ortiz; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo (419-473-0300), with a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
