Frances M. Jacobs

Frances M. Jacobs, age 83, a longtime resident of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born August 9th, 1927 to Frank E. and Venus I. (Woods) Bragg in Monroe, Michigan. Frances was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. She loved to crochet and knit and amazed her family with her talent. Frances also enjoyed taking care of her beloved dog "Ruff". She had a kind and loving heart and made friends of every one she met. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate to know her.

In addition to her parents Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Jacobs and son, Larry Jacobs. She is survived by her loving children, Leonard (Patsy) Jacobs; Dennis (Martha) Jacobs; Michele (Donald) Lojewski and Tonia (Anthony) Rowland; 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Delbert) King and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
