Frances Lloyd passed away Monday, September 25, 2017. She was born July 24, 1917 to the late Frank and Bertha Ciuba.
Frances was passionate about cooking, tending to her home and family. She was married to Chester H. Lloyd for 49 years until his death in July 14, 1985. Frances helped put two sons through college and professional school.
She was a proud member of Park Church for 66 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons LeRoy (Rachel) and Marlin (Nesta) Lloyd; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Jenny Okoroski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania for taking great care of Frances for the last 9 years.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made out to the donor's choice.
The family will be receiving guests Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with internment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
