Forest Sanford "Sonny" Woods, age 76, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Friday morning, September 16, 2016. He was born on March 1, 1940 in Zanesville, Ohio to Robert and Juanita (Norman) Woods.
Sonny retired from HydraMatic - GM PowerTrain after 35 years of service as a Tool Maker. A few of his interests included, bow making, hunting and traveling through the entire United States with his wife, Luella.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Luella (McCurdy) Woods; daughter, Kimberly (Paul) Lowien; son, Brian (Paula) Woods; seven grandchildren, Erin, Sara, Hannah, Austin, Elise, Madison and Janessa; siblings, Thomas (Mary) Woods and sister in law, Carol Woods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Woods.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Sonny's memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
