Floyd R. Lentz, 65, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2014. He was born on January 17, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio.
Floyd was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and served in Korea. He was fascinated with military history, especially the Civil War. Floyd will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. He had such an infectious laugh and was always willing to help anyone even before they asked. Floyd simply was a kind and gentle man.
Floyd is survived by his daughter, Amy; mother, June McGuckin; siblings, Kathleen (Dennis) Duffey, Denise (James) Facemyre, Dennis (Jacqueline) Lentz, Phil Lentz and Glen (Patti) Lentz.
A Memorial Celebration will be held from 1-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Abundant Life of Perrysburg, 100 Trinity Ct., Perrysburg, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to: The Old Newsboys Goodfellow Association, P.O. Box 2032, Toledo, OH 43604.
