Floyd was born December 9, 1939 in Mobile, Alabama to his parents, Mamie and Love Henderson.
Floyd departed his life on April 16, 2023 at Park Terrace Nursing Facility.
He had a love for the Lord. Singing in the choir at Shiloh Apostolic Faith. He also served as usher.
He also had a love for cars, junking, traveling and music.
Floyd was also the neighborhood mechanic or a part changer as he would say.
He was loved by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mamie and Love Henderson; his sister, Corine; his twin brother, Lloyd and his children, Katrina and Floyd Jr. (Man)
He leaves to cherish his legacy his wife and friend Helen; his daughter, Kimberly; 5 grandchildren, Shawn, Danielle, Cherise, Ashley and Casino, Jr.; his 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
