Flossie "Jean" Glenn, age 83, passed away on December 16, 2017. She was born on July 31, 1934 to the late Bessie and Charles Terry in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
Jean was a Registered Nurse and devoted most of her career to working with the elderly in various capacities including hospice. Jean and her husband spent their retirement together in Florida. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. Jean absolutely loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted mom, grandma and great-grandma.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, James; siblings, Fae Foltz, Hugh Carville Blackburn, Charles Terry and Ruby Marie Trusty. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joan (Nick) Glenn-Katzakis, Jamie (Jim) Haack, James (Tammy) Glenn Jr., Janet (Tom) Miller and Dr. Jeffrey (Megan) Glenn; siblings, Keith Terry, LaVonne Webber, Mary Jane Litherland Waite and Kenneth Terry; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Lisa) Weber, Jennifer Katzakis, Jillian Katzakis, Mary (Tim) Kaskewsky, Andrew (Marcleana) Haack, Joshua (Samantha) Glenn, Jessica Glenn, Brady (Hannah) Miller, Emily Miller, Isabelle Glenn and Annabelle Glenn; great-grandkids, Destiny Williams, Jordyn Brownlee, Hudson Haack, Hadley Haack, Brenton Glenn, Emiliana Glenn, Isla Glenn and Kalina Glenn.
Per Jean's wishes, no services will be held. The family requests donations be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
