Fennechien Hartman

Fennechien Hartman, age 64 of Ottawa Lake, Michigan passed away Friday, December 9, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born September 8, 1946 to B.J. and Aagtje (Smit) Feeburg in Wildervank, Groeningen in the Netherlands. She met her husband of 43 years William R. Hartman, in Holland where he was stationed in the Air Force. They married on October 20, 1967 in the Netherlands and shortly after, they moved to the United States in 1969. Fennechien worked for the state aerial for 10 years as a painter. She used her artistic talent to paint and tint aerial photographs that were taken of landscapes.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William; children, Nick (Dawn) Hartman, Anneliesje (Chuck) Hamid and Susan (Mike) Ridgeway;adoptive daughter, Angie Reinhardt; siblings, Fina Wesley, Gina V/Dkuilen and Bart Feeberg; grandchildren, Nickolas, Maranda and Ashley Hartman; Austin and Madison Ridgeway; Sarah and Sadia Hamid and her dearest canine companion, CoCo. Preceding her in death are her parents; siblings, Aagtje, Hugo, Walter, Johan and Gine and foreign-exchange son, Simo Pekka Tervo from Findland.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Columba Niboro.
