Fannie Foksa

Fannie "Sue" Foksa, age 68, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014, where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 1, 1945 in Harlan, Kentucky to Howard and Jessie (Miller) Lowe. She was married to Dennis J. Foksa for 37 years and together they had two children, Russell and Amy. When she wasn't caring for her family, she enjoyed shopping with family and friends, watering her flowers and caring for any of the neighborhood stray animals. Sue's family will remember her for her feisty personality, good nature and cooking. Her cornbread and gravy will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Russell (Samantha) and Amy (Angie); one expected granddaughter in September; siblings, Jr., Tony, Dallas, Ted, Mary, Nellie; dear friends, Marcie and Betty. Preceding her in passing was her husband, Dennis.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623 (419-473-0300). There will be a Sharing of Memories in the funeral home at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Fr. James Auth officiating.
