Everald George Brown

Everald George Brown, age 86, of Toledo, went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2015. He was born in Jamaica on September 8, 1928. As a native of Jamaica, he moved to England in his younger years and worked as a cabinet maker, later moving to the United States. For 21 years he worked for Ottawa Hills Board of Education. George was a faithful and longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was grounded in his faith which gave him the strength and courage to face his physical ailments.

He is survived by his 3 children, Errol, Collie and Dawn Brown; dear friends and his church family.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH 43623. Services will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Dave Rodgers. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
