Evelyn A. Pawlinski

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Evelyn A. Pawlinski, on February 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Evelyn was born on August 16, 1942 to the proud parents of Edward and Helen Henry, in Toledo, Ohio. Evelyn had 9 brothers and sisters. She was married at the age of 16 to her first love, Harry Pawlinski, for 37 wonderful years. The two of them had three beautiful girls, Sandy, Tammy, and Brenda. Evelyn also had 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Evelyn was also blessed to have met James Wright after the passing of her husband. The two of them spent several years making memories traveling the country in their RV. They completed their bucket list by making it to all 50 states! 

Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Evelyn was a woman of many passions including spending time with her family, crafting, camping, traveling, line dancing, the Amish Community, and her little dog Penny whom she deeply adored. She was the Queen of the Castle and the boss of us all. Everyone that knew her was wrapped around her finger. We will always remember her stubborn, sassy and loving spirit. Unfortunately, she suffered from the loss of many loved ones during her life but still managed to make us all laugh and smile. We are grateful for her to be reunited with them all in heaven. 

Evelyn is survived by her middle daughter and best friend, Tammy, son in laws Kim, Joe, and Jamie, her grandchildren (Eric, Brittney, Justin, Brandon, and Mikenzie), and great grandchildren (Isaiah, AJ, Gemma, JJ, and Nico). Her 2 remaining siblings Manuel and Fred. Also, her angel on Earth, who helped care for her the past year, Cheryl Phillips. And her bonus daughter, Therese Hohlbein, who always showered her with extra hugs and homemade cookies made with love. And last but not least, her sweet puppy Penny who was the center of her world.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry Pawlinski, her second love, James Wright, her two daughters Sandra Holmes and Brenda Mills, and 7 of her siblings. A Celebration of Evelyn’s Life will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Heritage Church of God. 3520 Strayer Road, Maumee, OH 43537 where the Funeral Service will begin at 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospitals or the American Cancer Society.
