Evelyn Lawrence

Evelyn Lawrence, age 86, of Toledo, passed away October 13, 2016 at The Toledo Hospital. Evelyn was born July 23, 1930 in to David Hunter and Bertha Wright. She was employed with the Lake Park for more than 17 years. She gave up her nursing career to raise a family. She had a "green thumb" and thoroughly enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Lawrence. She is survived by her Daughters, Theresa Daniels; Margaret Prince; Evelyn Brooks and sons, Robert (Tracy) and Theron Lawrence; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo from 10 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice or the Alzheimers Association.
