Evelyn C. Herzog

Evelyn C. Herzog, age 82, of Holland, Ohio passed away November 26, 2013 at Heartland of Waterville, 3 days after her husband of 63 years, Frank. She was born May 19, 1931 in Toledo to Clare and Leona (Merritt) Farbrother. Evelyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and the world's best babysitter.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, William (Barb) Herzog, Diane (Mark) Stark, Frank Herzog Jr., and Karen (Dave) Chumchal; sister, Jean Sites; grandchildren, Corey, Stacy, Vickie, Alex, Ethan, Kyle and Anna; and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Farbrother and grandson, Jacob Chumchal.

The family will receive guests Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 6:00 pm. in the funeral home.
