Eveline "Evie" Adams

Eveline "Evie" Adams, aged 93, was called to her eternal rest on July 21, 2024, in Toledo, OH. Born on July 12, 1931. Blessed with the gift of making every gathering brighter, Evie's presence was a source of joy and comfort to those around her. Her life’s journey was marked by a profound awe of God’s creation, and her legacy is one of selfless love and abundant gratitude. She was a beacon of kindness and epitome of generosity. 

She and her husband owned and operated A&B Tool, where she was the bookkeeper for many years. Evie loved spending time with her family, getting together with friends, eating out and playing games. She loved the Lord and attended church for many years, most recently at Monclova Road Baptist Church. 

Evie is survived by her son, Stephen “Dusty” (Ruth) Adams; daughters, Karen Woll and Jennifer (Scott) Shaw; grandchildren, Nathan (Holly) Woll, Andrea (Julian) Outar, Jeff Adams, Stephen (Sarah) Woll, Rachel (Dan) Lobban and Elisabeth Shaw; and 19 great-grandchildren. 

Evie has now joined in Heaven her cherished husband, Donald “Don” Adams; her dear son, Timothy “Tim” Adams; son-in-law, Philip Woll; and daughter-in-law, Robin Adams; as well as her two sisters and two brothers. Her life was a beautiful reflection of her faith, and she will be deeply missed by the many souls she touched. 

The family welcomes loved ones to honor her memory on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH 43617 (419-392-9500) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
